2. Safety Instructions

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your pyrography machine:

1. Placement: Place the control unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area.
2. Connect Pens: Insert the connectors of the pyrography pens firmly into the sockets on the front of the control unit.
3. Install Wire Tip:
   1. Using the provided screwdriver, loosen the two screws on the pen head. Ensure the screws are loosened by more than 4mm.
   2. Carefully insert the chosen wire tip into the copper wire connection points. The foot of the tip must be inserted more than 8mm.
   3. Tighten the screws firmly. Ensure the tip is securely held and the spring is pulled taut. An improperly tightened tip may not heat up or could spark.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord of the control unit into a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

Once set up, you can begin your pyrography project:

1. Power On: Flip the red power switch on the control unit to the 'ON' position. The digital display will illuminate.
2. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature adjustment knob to set your desired temperature. The digital display will show the selected temperature. The machine heats rapidly, reaching operating temperature in approximately 20 seconds. The temperature range is 0°C to 750°C.
3. Test on Scrap Material: Before working on your final project, always test the pen on a scrap piece of the same material to determine the optimal temperature and pressure for your desired effect.
4. Begin Pyrography: Hold the pen comfortably and apply gentle, consistent pressure to the material. Experiment with different tips and temperatures to achieve various line widths, shades, and textures.
5. Pen Holder: When not actively burning, place the hot pen in one of the provided pen stands. The pen holder is made from ABS high-temperature resistant material for safety.
6. Cool Down: When finished, turn the temperature knob to 0°C and then switch off the main power. Allow the pens and tips to cool completely before handling or storing.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your pyrography machine:
