3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your 860C LCD Display on your electric bicycle or scooter.

3.1 Mounting the Display

1. Loosen the screws on your handlebar stem to create space for the display mount.
2. Position the display unit onto the handlebar.
3. Secure the display using the provided mounting brackets and screws. Ensure it is firmly attached and at a comfortable viewing angle.
4. Tighten all screws to prevent movement during riding.

3.2 Connecting the Cables

1. Locate the display cable connector from your electric bike/scooter's mid-drive motor kit.
2. Align the arrows on the display cable connector and the motor kit connector.
3. Firmly push the connectors together until they click into place, ensuring a secure connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• To power on the display, press and hold the power button on the control panel.
• To power off, press and hold the power button again.

4.2 Display Interface Overview

The display provides real-time information about your ride. Key indicators include:

• Speed: Current riding speed (KM/H or MPH).
• Battery Indicator: Shows remaining battery life.
• Pedal Assist Level (PAS): Indicates the current level of motor assistance.
• Trip/Odometer: Displays trip distance or total distance.
• Time: Current time or ride duration.
• Headlight Icon: Indicates if headlights are on.

4.3 Adjusting Pedal Assist Level (PAS)

• Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel to increase or decrease the pedal assist level.

• Press and hold the "+" button to activate the display backlight and connected headlights (if applicable).

4.5 Walk Assist Mode

• Press and hold the "-" button to activate walk assist mode, which provides low-speed assistance for pushing the bike.

• Auto-off Time: Set the duration after which the display automatically turns off due to inactivity.
