Before first use, wash all parts that will come into contact with food. The work bowl, lid, blades, and discs are top-rack dishwasher safe. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

4.2 Assembly

  1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface.
  2. Place the work bowl onto the motor base, aligning the handle with the front of the base. Turn clockwise until it locks into place.
  3. Carefully place the desired blade or disc onto the center stem in the work bowl. Ensure it is seated properly.
  4. Place the work bowl cover onto the work bowl, aligning the feed tube with the work bowl handle. Turn clockwise until it locks into place. The unit will not operate unless the lid is correctly locked.
  5. Insert the food pusher into the feed tube.

5. Operating Instructions

Ensure the unit is properly assembled and plugged into a grounded electrical outlet before operation.

  1. Assemble the work bowl with the universal blade.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your food processor.

6.1 Disassembly and Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the food processor before cleaning.
  2. Remove the food pusher, lid, blade/disc, and work bowl from the motor base.
  3. All removable parts (work bowl, lid, food pusher, blades, and discs) are top-rack dishwasher safe. For best results, rinse immediately after use.
  4. The motor base should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
  5. Use a small brush to clean crevices if food particles are stuck.

6.2 Storage

The accessory hub allows for convenient in-bowl storage of the universal blade and reversible discs. Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing.

7. Troubleshooting

If your food processor is not functioning as expected, refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Unit does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Verify that the work bowl and lid are correctly assembled and locked into place. The safety interlock system prevents operation if not properly secured.
  • Food is not processing evenly:
    • Ensure ingredients are cut into appropriate sizes before adding to the work bowl or feed tube.
    • Do not overfill the work bowl. Process in smaller batches if necessary.
    • For chopping, use the PULSE function for better control over consistency.
  • Motor sounds strained or unit stops during operation:
    • The work bowl may be overloaded. Reduce the amount of food being processed.
    • Some ingredients may be too hard for the appliance. Avoid processing extremely hard items like whole coffee beans or hard spices.
    • Unplug the unit, clear any obstructions, and allow the motor to cool if it has overheated.
