4. Setup and Connections

Follow these steps to properly set up your XY-AP50L amplifier board.

4.1 Power Connection:

Ensure the amplifier board is powered off before making any connections.
Connect a DC power supply (12V-24V) to the "DC 6-24V" input terminals. Observe polarity: positive (+) to positive, negative (-) to negative.
The included DC power adapter cable can be used for convenience if your power supply has a compatible barrel jack.

4.2 Speaker Connection:

Connect your passive speakers to the "SPK1" (Left Channel) and "SPK2" (Right Channel) output terminals.
Ensure correct polarity for each speaker (+ to + and - to -) to maintain proper audio phasing.
The amplifier supports 2.0 stereo output. Connect one speaker to SPK1 and another to SPK2.

4.3 Audio Input Connection:

The XY-AP50L supports two audio input methods:

AUX In: Connect your audio source (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player, computer) to the "AUX IN" port using a 3.5mm audio cable.
USB Audio: Connect the amplifier board to a computer's USB port using a USB cable. The board will be recognized as an audio output device, allowing digital audio playback.

Note: Only one audio input source should be active at a time to avoid interference.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off:

The main knob on the board functions as both a volume control and a power switch. To power on or off, press and hold the knob for a few seconds until the indicator light changes or the device powers down.

5.2 Volume Adjustment:

Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the volume and counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.

5.3 Input Selection (if applicable):

The board automatically detects the active audio input. If both AUX and USB are connected, the board typically prioritizes one or switches based on signal presence. Refer to the indicator lights for the active input mode.

6. Maintenance

Keep the amplifier board in a dry, dust-free environment.
