Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

1. Cleaning the Exterior

  • Before cleaning, always unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface.
  • Ensure no water enters the control panel or air vents.

2. Cleaning the Water Tank

  • Empty the water tank as described in the Operating Instructions.
  • Rinse the water tank with clean water. For thorough cleaning, use a mild detergent and a soft brush, then rinse completely.
  • Dry the tank thoroughly before reinserting it into the unit to prevent mold or mildew growth.
