Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your COBIZI canopy tent.
- Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric and sidewalls with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
- Frame Care: Inspect the metal frame regularly for any signs of rust or damage. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame. If rust appears, gently remove it and apply a rust-inhibiting paint.
- Storage: Always ensure the canopy fabric and frame are completely dry before folding and storing them in the provided carrying bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their solutions:
- Canopy is unstable: Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked, and that the canopy is properly anchored with stakes and ropes. Check that the frame is fully expanded and the fabric is taut.
- Water accumulation on canopy top: This can occur if the canopy is not set up correctly or if the height is not adjusted properly. Ensure the fabric is stretched tightly over the frame to allow water to run off. The foot wraps can be adjusted to tighten the cover and prevent water pooling.
- Difficulty with assembly/disassembly: Ensure two people are involved in the process. Refer to the setup videos for visual guidance. Do not force any parts; if resistance is met, re-check the alignment.
