3. Components and Controls
Familiarize yourself with the camera's physical components and controls as illustrated below:

- On/Off Key: Used to power the camera on or off.

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Camera
Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal lithium-ion battery. Use the provided USB charging cable to connect the camera to a computer's USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter.

- Connect the small end of the USB cable to the camera's USB port.
- Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- The indicator light will typically show a specific color (e.g., red) during charging and change or turn off when fully charged. Refer to the indicator light section for specific patterns.
4.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card
The camera requires a Micro SD card (not included) to store recordings and photos. It supports cards up to 32GB capacity.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the camera (refer to Figure 3.2).
- Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To remove the card, push it in slightly until it springs out.
4.3 Initial Power On
After charging and inserting the Micro SD card, press and hold the On/Off Key for a few seconds until the indicator light illuminates, indicating the camera is powered on and in standby mode.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the On/Off Key until the indicator light turns on.
- Power Off: Press and hold the On/Off Key until the indicator light turns off.
5.2 Video Recording
The camera records clear and smooth dynamic video at 1280x960 HD resolution.

- Ensure the camera is powered on and in video recording mode (check indicator light status).
- Press the Function Key once to start recording. The indicator light will change to indicate active recording.
- Press the Function Key again to stop recording. The camera will save the video file and return to standby mode.

- Ensure the camera is powered on and in photo mode.
- Press the Function Key once to take a photo. The indicator light may flash briefly to confirm capture.
5.4 Motion Detection Recording
The motion detection feature allows the camera to automatically record when movement is detected.
- Ensure the camera is powered on.
- Switch the camera to motion detection mode (refer to specific indicator light patterns for this mode).
- When an object enters the camera's field of view, it will automatically begin recording for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, it will return to motion detection standby.
5.5 Connecting to a Computer
You can connect the camera to a computer to transfer files or use it as a webcam.

- Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- The camera will be recognized as a removable disk, allowing you to access and transfer your recorded videos and photos.
- For webcam functionality, the computer may automatically detect it or require specific driver installation (check your operating system's device manager).
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
