Safety Information

- Flame-out Protection System: Automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame extinguishes unexpectedly.
- Important Note: Do not use on rainy days. When storing, it is recommended to use a protective cover. Combustible materials should not be within 48 inches of the product.

Setup and Assembly
The EAST OAK Patio Heater is designed for quick and easy assembly, typically completed within 30 minutes without special tools.
- Base Assembly: Attach the support brackets and wheels to the base.
- Post Installation: Secure the lower and upper posts to the base and each other.
- Burner Assembly: Attach the burner unit to the top of the upper post.
- Reflector Shield: Assemble the three pieces of the upgraded reflector shield and attach it to the burner unit.
- Propane Tank Connection: Place a 20lbs propane tank (Propane Only) inside the cylinder housing. Connect the regulator hose to the propane tank's nozzle. Ensure a secure connection.
- Cylinder Housing Cover: Place the cylinder housing cover over the propane tank.

Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to safely operate your patio heater.
- Open Gas Supply: Turn the valve on your propane tank counter-clockwise to open the gas supply.
- Ignition: Locate the control knob on the burner unit. Push the knob down and turn it to the "ON" position. While holding it down, press the igniter button repeatedly until the flame ignites. Hold the knob down for 5-10 seconds after ignition to ensure the thermocouple is heated and the flame remains lit.
- Adjust Heat: Once lit, release the knob and adjust it to your desired heat setting (Low to High).
- To Turn Off: Turn the control knob to the "OFF" position. Close the valve on the propane tank by turning it clockwise.
