Maintenance

  • SD Card Formatting: Regularly format the microSD card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the main unit and camera lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the official VSYSTO website periodically for firmware updates to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

  • Q1: The main unit or camera generates heat. Is this normal?

A1: Yes, this is normal. High-precision cameras and high-speed processing chips consume significant power, and the waterproof design of the camera and main unit is sealed, causing a certain amount of heat generation.

  • Q2: The main unit buttons do not respond during recording.

A2: In recording mode (RCE), only the OK (stop recording) and right buttons (switch front/rear camera display) are active. To access menu options, stop recording and enter standby mode, then use the menu and left buttons.

  • Q3: Video files on PC have no sound.

A3: We recommend using PotPlayer for playback. Other players like Windows Media Player may not play correctly. Compatible OS for PC playback: Windows 7/8/10 (PotPlayer recommended), MacOSX 10 or later (KMPplayer recommended).

  • Q4: The wired remote vibrates continuously.

A4: This indicates a recording error (e.g., SD card loose, camera detached). Check the installation and ensure the SD card is properly inserted and formatted.
