Manual Swatting Mode:

  2. Press and hold the Power Button (marked with a lightning symbol) on the side of the handle. An indicator light will turn on, signifying the high-voltage grid is active.
  3. Swing the swatter towards the insect. When an insect touches the inner mesh, a spark and sound will indicate its elimination.
  4. Release the Power Button to deactivate the high-voltage grid. The indicator light will turn off.

Mosquito Lure Lamp Mode (ON1):

This mode activates the built-in UV lure lamp to attract insects.

  1. Slide the mode switch to the "ON1" position. The lure lamp will turn on.
  2. The high-voltage grid is not continuously active in this mode. To eliminate insects attracted by the lamp, you must still press and hold the Power Button as described in the Manual Swatting Mode.
  3. To turn off the lure lamp, slide the mode switch back to "OFF".

Continuous Swatting & Lure Lamp Mode (ON2):

This mode activates both the lure lamp and keeps the high-voltage grid continuously active, allowing the swatter to function as a stationary insect killer.

  1. Slide the mode switch to the "ON2" position. The lure lamp will turn on, and the high-voltage grid will be continuously active.
  2. You can place the swatter on its base (if provided) or hang it in an area where insects are present.
  3. To turn off both the lure lamp and the continuous high-voltage grid, slide the mode switch back to "OFF".

6. Charging

The WEIDASI WD960 is equipped with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. When the power indicator light dims or the swatter's effectiveness decreases, it's time to recharge.

  • Connect the swatter to a 5V USB power source using a USB cable.
  • A red indicator light typically signifies charging in progress.
  • Once fully charged, the indicator light may change to green or turn off.
  • Avoid leaving the swatter connected to power for extended periods after it is fully charged to prolong battery life.

7. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: After use, ensure the swatter is turned OFF and completely discharged. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently remove any insect debris from the mesh. Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the mesh.
  • Storage: Store the swatter in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Battery Care: If storing for a long period, charge the battery every 3 months to maintain its health.
