Setup

1. Charging Your Devices

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge both your MX Keys S keyboard and MX Master 3S mouse using the provided USB-C charging cable. Connect the USB-C end to the device and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

• The keyboard's charging port is located on the top edge.
• The mouse's charging port is located at the front.

2. Connecting Your Devices

Your MX Keys S and MX Master 3S can be connected via Bluetooth Low Energy or the included Logi Bolt USB receiver.

Using the Logi Bolt USB Receiver:

1. Plug the Logi Bolt USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
2. Turn on your keyboard and mouse. They should automatically connect to the receiver.

Using Bluetooth Low Energy:

1. Turn on your keyboard and mouse.
2. On the keyboard, press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) until the LED indicator blinks rapidly.
3. On the mouse, press the Easy-Switch button on the bottom until the LED indicator blinks rapidly.
4. On your computer, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Logitech MX Keys S" or "Logitech MX Master 3S" from the list of available devices to pair.

• Customize keyboard function keys and mouse buttons.
• Adjust smart illumination settings.
• Create and manage Smart Actions for repetitive tasks.
• Enable Flow for seamless multi-computer control.

Operating Instructions

Keyboard Operation (MX Keys S)

• Fluid Typing: The spherically dished keys are designed for comfortable, precise, and quiet typing.
• Smart Illumination: Backlit keys automatically light up when your hands approach and adjust brightness based on ambient light. Customize duration and brightness in Logi Options+.
• Programmable Keys: Use the Logi Options+ app to assign custom functions to the F-keys and other programmable keys.
• Easy-Switch: Quickly switch between up to three connected devices by pressing the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) on the keyboard.

Mouse Operation (MX Master 3S)

• MagSpeed Scrolling: Scroll 1000 lines per second with the electromagnetic MagSpeed scroll wheel. Switch between line-by-line precision and hyper-fast free spin modes.
• 8K DPI Sensor: The 8K DPI optical sensor allows for precise tracking on virtually any surface, including glass (minimum 4mm thickness).

Multi-Device and Multi-OS Functionality (Logitech Flow)

With Logitech Flow (enabled via Logi Options+), you can seamlessly control multiple computers with a single MX Keys S and MX Master 3S combo. Move your cursor to the edge of one screen, and it automatically appears on the next, even across different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, iPadOS, iOS).

• Copy and paste text, images, and files between computers.
• Requires Logi Options+ installed on all computers you wish to use with Flow.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the surfaces of the keyboard and mouse.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
• For the keyboard, use compressed air to remove debris from between the keys.

Battery Care

• To maximize battery life, avoid exposing the devices to extreme temperatures.
• Charge the devices when the battery indicator shows low power.
• The MX Master 3S mouse offers up to 70 days of power on a full charge, and the MX Keys S keyboard provides long-lasting battery life with smart illumination.

Troubleshooting

Connectivity Issues

• Device not connecting: Ensure both devices are turned on and fully charged. Check that the Logi Bolt receiver is securely plugged in, or that Bluetooth is enabled on your computer.
• Interference: Move the devices closer to the receiver or computer. Avoid placing them near other wireless devices that might cause interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
• Re-pairing: If connection is lost, try re-pairing the devices using the Easy-Switch buttons as described in the "Setup" section.

Keyboard Backlighting Not Working

• Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged. Low battery can disable backlighting.
• Check ambient light conditions. Smart illumination may turn off backlighting in bright environments.
• Adjust backlighting settings in the Logi Options+ app.

Mouse Tracking Issues

• Clean the mouse sensor on the bottom of the device.
• Ensure the surface you are using is not excessively reflective or uneven. While the mouse tracks on glass, extreme conditions may affect performance.
• Check DPI settings in the Logi Options+ app.
