Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and retain it for future reference.

The Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker produces soft, chewable nugget ice, also known as pebble ice. It features a high-efficiency compressor capable of producing up to 55 lbs of ice per day in summer conditions. The unit offers rapid ice release, automatic ice making cycles, two water refill methods (manual and automatic connection), and a self-cleaning function for convenient maintenance.

What's in the Box

Upon unpacking, please ensure all items listed below are present and in good condition:

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, tape, and protective films.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit, leaving at least 5 inches of space from walls or other appliances.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for detailed cleaning instructions.
  4. Water Connection: Your Aeitto ice maker offers two water refill methods:
    • Manual Water Refill: Open the water reservoir cover and pour clean, potable water directly into the reservoir. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
    • Automatic Water Refill: Connect the provided water inlet tube to the ice maker's water inlet port and to a suitable water supply using the faucet connector. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks. It is recommended to use pure water or a water filtration system to prolong the ice maker's lifespan.

  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the "POWER" button to turn on the ice maker. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate.

  3. Automatic Cycle Ice Making: The ice maker is designed to automatically cycle ice production. It will stop making ice when the ice level reaches the infrared sensor and resume after 30 minutes if the ice level drops below the sensor.   4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will turn on, and the ice maker will pause production. Once ice is removed, production will resume automatically.
  5. Add Water Indicator: If the water reservoir is low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate. Refill the water reservoir using either the manual or automatic method.
  6. Power Off: Press the "POWER" button again to turn off the ice maker.

Note: The ice maker does not have a refrigeration function for storing ice long-term. It is recommended to transfer produced ice to a freezer for storage.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker, and to ensure fresh-tasting ice.

Self-Cleaning Function

The ice maker features an automatic self-cleaning function. It is recommended to perform this function at least once a week to maintain ice freshness and remove limescale buildup.

  1. Ensure the ice basket is empty.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with clean water. For enhanced cleaning, you may add a small amount of food-grade descaler or a mixture of water and vinegar (ratio 10:1).
  3. Press and hold the "CLEAN" button for 3 seconds to activate the automatic cleaning cycle. The "CLEAN" indicator light will illuminate.
  4. The cleaning cycle will run for a set period, circulating water through the system.
  5. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Manual Cleaning

In addition to the self-cleaning function, periodic manual cleaning is recommended, especially if you notice any residue or unusual odors.

  • Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
  • Remove the ice basket and wash it with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Wipe the interior surfaces of the ice maker, including the water reservoir and ice chute, with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.
  • Rinse the interior with clean water, ensuring no detergent residue remains.
  • Dry all surfaces thoroughly before reassembling and plugging in the unit.
