4.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires one (1) CR2 battery (not included). Follow these steps to install the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover by sliding or pressing the latch as indicated.
  3. Insert one CR2 battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.

Once the battery is installed, the remote control is ready for use. No additional programming or pairing is required.

To operate your Nakamichi car stereo system with this remote control, point the remote directly at the infrared receiver on your car stereo unit. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the receiver.
