Note: 3 AAA batteries for the display console and 3 AA batteries for the outdoor sensor are required and not included.
Setup
1. Outdoor Sensor Installation
The outdoor sensor array is designed for easy installation and can be positioned up to 328 feet (100 meters) away from the indoor console. Ensure the sensor is placed in an open area to accurately measure wind, rain, and sunlight, away from obstructions like buildings or trees.
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the outdoor sensor and insert 3 AA batteries (lithium batteries are recommended for cold climates).
- Mounting: Use the included mounting pole and hardware to secure the sensor. The sensor can be mounted on a pole (top or side) or directly on a flat surface like a roof or decking. Ensure the wind vane points North for accurate wind direction readings.

2. Indoor Display Console Setup
The indoor console features a large, clear LCD display for easy viewing of all weather parameters.
- Power On: Insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the display console, or connect the included power adapter.
- Sensor Pairing: The console will automatically search for and connect with the outdoor sensor. This may take a few minutes. Ensure the outdoor sensor is powered on and within range.
- Initial Settings: Once connected, set the time, date, and preferred units (e.g., °F/°C, mph/km/h, inHg/hPa) using the buttons on the console. Refer to the "Operating" section for detailed button functions.

Operating the Weather Station

Display Overview
- Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Current readings from the external sensor.
- Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Current readings from the console's internal sensors.
- Wind Speed & Direction: Real-time wind data, including gust and average speeds.
- Rainfall: Daily, weekly, or monthly rainfall accumulation.
- Atmospheric Pressure: Current barometric pressure.
- Weather Forecast: Icons indicating predicted weather conditions (sunny, cloudy, rainy, etc.).
- Moon Phase: Displays the current moon phase.
- Time & Date: Current time and date.
