1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the OTLEER Wireless Keyless Entry Garage Door Opener Keypad. This device provides a secure and convenient way to access your garage without a remote control or key. It features a secure 4-digit programmable code, temporary PIN functionality, multi-channel control for up to three garage doors, and Security+ 2.0 rolling code technology for enhanced security. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, programming, operation, and maintenance.

2. Compatibility

This wireless garage door keypad is designed for compatibility with Chamberlain, LiftMaster, and Sears Craftsman garage door openers manufactured from 1993 to the current year. Compatibility is determined by the color of the learn button on your garage door opener.

  • Compatible Learn Button Colors: Purple, Yellow, Red, Orange, Green.
  • Important Note: Not compatible with Craftsman Series 100 & Series 200, 200.57933, 57943, 57953, CR1150, 139.57943, 139.57953.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Package Contents

  • OTLEER Wireless Keypad
  • Mounting Screws

  • 9V Zinc Carbon Battery (pre-installed or included)

3.2 Battery Installation

The keypad requires a 9V Zinc Carbon battery for operation. The battery may be pre-installed. If not, open the battery compartment on the back of the keypad and insert the 9V battery, observing the correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

3.3 Mounting the Keypad

The keypad offers wireless installation. Choose a convenient location outside your garage, typically near the garage door, at a height easily accessible to all users. Use the provided screws and expansion tubes to securely mount the keypad to a wall or surface. Ensure the keypad is mounted vertically.

3.4 Programming the Initial PIN

Follow these steps to program your personal 4-digit identification number (PIN) and sync the keypad with your garage door opener:

  1. Locate the Learn button on your garage door opener. The location and appearance may vary depending on your model (e.g., on the motor unit, near the antenna wires).
  2. On the keypad, press and hold the * (asterisk) and # (pound) buttons simultaneously until the lights on the keypad stop blinking.
  3. Enter your desired 4-digit PIN. Then, press the # button.
  4. Press and release the ENTER button the number of times that corresponds to your garage door opener type (based on the learn button color):
    • 1 press: Security+ 2.0 (Yellow Learn Button)
    • 2 presses: 315 MHz Security+ (Purple Learn Button)
    • 3 presses: 390 MHz Security+ (Red/Orange Learn Button)
    • 4 presses: 390 MHz Billion Code (Green Learn Button)
  5. To exit programming mode, press the 0 button.
  6. Press and release the Learn button on your garage door opener. The Learn LED will light up. You have approximately 30 seconds to complete the next step.
  7. Enter your 4-digit PIN on the keypad, then press and release the ENTER button until the garage door opener lights flash or two clicks are heard.
  8. To test, press the ENTER button. The garage door opener should activate.

To program the Keyless Entry to more than one garage door opener, repeat the steps above using a new PIN for each additional garage door opener.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Opening/Closing the Garage Door

To open or close your garage door, simply enter your programmed 4-digit PIN on the keypad, then press the ENTER button. The garage door will activate.

4.2 One-Touch Close Feature

For added convenience, within 15 seconds of opening the garage door with your code, you can use the ENTER button to close the garage door with a single touch. This bypasses the need to re-enter your PIN.

4.3 Temporary PIN Feature

The temporary PIN feature allows you to provide temporary access to others (e.g., repairpersons, delivery services, house sitters) without compromising your primary entry code. You can set the number of times the temporary PIN can be used. Note that the temporary PIN cannot be the same as any previously programmed PIN.

4.4 Multi-Channel Control

This keypad features 3 channels, allowing you to control up to three separate garage door openers with a single keypad. Each garage door opener will require its own unique programmed PIN.

4.6 Security+ 2.0 Rolling Code Technology

The keypad incorporates the latest Security+ 2.0 rolling code technology. This advanced feature ensures that a new code is sent every time the keypad is used, virtually eliminating radio wave interference and enhancing the security of your garage access.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Weather Protection

The keypad includes a durable, 180° rotatable flip-up cover designed to protect the keypad from various weather elements, such as rain, snow, and direct sunlight. Keep the cover closed when not in use to prolong the life of the keypad.

5.2 Battery Replacement

When the keypad's performance degrades or the backlight dims significantly, it may be time to replace the 9V battery. Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit, remove the old battery, and insert a new 9V Zinc Carbon battery, ensuring correct polarity. Dispose of the old battery responsibly.
