Pre-Installation Checklist

Step-by-Step Installation
- Locate Wall Studs (Wood Stud Installation): Use a stud finder to locate the edges and center of two adjacent wood studs. Mark the center of the studs at the desired height for the top of your TV. Ensure the marks are level.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the wall plate against the wall, aligning its center with your marked stud centers. Use a level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate.
- Drill Pilot Holes: For wood studs, drill pilot holes using a 7/32" (5.5 mm) drill bit to a depth of 2.2" (55 mm). For concrete/brick walls, use a 3/8" (10 mm) masonry drill bit to a depth of 2.4" (60 mm) and insert concrete anchors.
- Attach Wall Plate: Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten the bolts firmly but do not over-tighten.
- Attach TV Brackets to TV: Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the two TV bracket arms to the back of your TV using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the brackets are centered and securely fastened.
- Hang TV on Wall Plate: With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the TV bracket arms onto the top edge of the wall plate. Gently lower the TV until the brackets engage with the wall plate.
- Secure TV: Locate the locking screws or mechanisms on the bottom of the TV bracket arms. Tighten these screws to secure the TV to the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement.
- Adjust Tilt: Loosen the tilt tension knob(s) on the mount (if applicable) to adjust the TV to your desired viewing angle. Once set, tighten the knob(s) to secure the tilt position.
Operating the Tilt Feature
The Rocketfish Tilting TV Wall Mount features fingertip tilt technology, allowing you to easily adjust your TV's vertical viewing angle. To tilt your TV:
