Installation Guide

Follow these steps carefully to install your Thermal Grizzly CPU Contact Frame. Ensure your system is powered off and disconnected from the power supply before beginning.

Step 1: Prepare the Motherboard

Place the motherboard on a flat, stable surface. Open the motherboard's Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) lever. The CPU should remain in its socket.

Step 2: Remove the Stock ILM

Using the provided Torx screwdriver, carefully unscrew the four screws holding the stock ILM in place. Keep these screws and the socket backplate as they may be needed for future use or warranty purposes. The CPU should remain seated in the socket during this process.

3. Use a spatula or applicator to spread the paste evenly across the entire surface of the IHS. Aim for a thin, uniform layer. Avoid fast wiping motions, as slow movements help achieve better adhesion.
