Introduction

The ZHIYUN Molus G200 is a powerful and portable 200W COB video light designed for professional photography and video recording. It features a bi-color temperature range of 2700K-6500K, high color rendering (CRI ≥95, TLCI ≥97), and a unique separated light body and controller design for enhanced flexibility. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Molus G200 light.

Setup

1. Assemble the Light and Controller: Connect the light body to the controller using the provided cable. Ensure a secure connection.
2. Attach the Reflector: Align the standard Bowens Mount reflector with the light head and twist clockwise until it locks into place.
3. Mount on a Stand: Use the integrated 180° adjustable arm to mount the light onto a compatible light stand. Secure it by tightening the knob.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the controller and then into a power outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Use the power switch on the controller to turn the device on or off.
2. Adjust Brightness (DIM): Rotate the [DIM] knob on the controller to adjust the light intensity from 0% to 100%.
3. Adjust Color Temperature (CCT): Rotate the [CCT] knob to change the color temperature between 2700K (warm) and 6500K (cool).
4. MAX Extreme Mode: For a peak output of up to 300W, press and hold both the [DIM] and [CCT] knobs simultaneously. Note that continuous use in this mode may trigger temperature protection.
5. ZY Vega App Control: Download the ZY Vega App to control the light remotely via Bluetooth. The app supports seamless CCT and DIM adjustment, as well as five built-in presets for quick changes.
6. Bowens Mount: The universal Bowens Mount allows for compatibility with a wide range of light modifiers, such as softboxes and diffusers.
