Setup and Installation
1. Mounting the DVR Unit
The DVR unit uses an adhesive mounting method for secure placement on your dashboard or rearview mirror (depending on model). Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive.
- Clean the desired mounting area on your dashboard or rearview mirror with an alcohol wipe and let it dry completely.
- Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad on the DVR mount.
- Firmly press the DVR unit onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds to ensure strong adhesion.
- For mirror-mounted models (CP06, CP08), use the provided rubber rings to secure the unit over your existing rearview mirror.
2. Connecting the Power Cable
Connect the provided power cable to the DVR unit and your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
- Insert the Type C connector of the power cable into the corresponding port on the DVR unit.
- Plug the other end of the power cable (car charger) into your vehicle's 12V power outlet.
- Route the cable neatly to avoid obstructing your view or interfering with driving controls.
3. Installing the Rear Camera
The rear camera provides additional security and parking assistance. It is typically mounted at the rear of the vehicle.
- Mount the rear camera in a suitable location at the back of your vehicle, such as above the license plate or inside the rear window, ensuring a clear view.
- Connect the rear camera cable to the rear camera.
- Route the 5.6-meter rear camera cable from the back of the vehicle to the main DVR unit, connecting it to the designated input port.
- If connecting for reverse gear detection, consult a professional for wiring the reverse trigger wire to your vehicle's reverse light circuit.

- Ensure the rear camera is properly installed and connected.
- If the parking assist lines do not appear, check the wiring of the reverse trigger wire (if applicable).
6. Low Light Performance
The HD cameras are designed to capture clear and smooth images even in very dark light conditions, providing detailed video recordings day and night. This ensures your vehicle has a reliable guardian at all times.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and camera lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Memory Card: Regularly format the memory card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important footage before formatting.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
