1. Product Overview
The MAGIC-REFINER K75 is an 81-key compact mechanical gaming keyboard designed for performance and customization. It features a high-transparency PC body, hot-swappable switches, and dynamic RGB backlighting. The keyboard connects via a detachable USB-C cable and is compatible with various operating systems.

2. Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Keyboard: Carefully remove the keyboard and its accessories from the packaging.
- Connect the USB-C Cable: Insert the USB-C end of the provided coiled cable into the port on the keyboard. Connect the other end (USB-A) to an available USB port on your computer.
- System Recognition: Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. No additional software installation is typically required for basic functionality.
- Adjust Keyboard Angle: Utilize the double bracket feet on the underside of the keyboard to adjust the typing angle for ergonomic comfort.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 RGB Backlight Control
The K75 keyboard features 18 distinct RGB lighting effects. You can customize and switch lighting effects, colors, brightness, and speed using the keyboard's function keys and the dedicated knob.
- Switch Lighting Modes: Use the designated key (often Fn + a specific key, refer to keyboard legends) to cycle through the 18 lighting effects.
- Adjust Light Color: Certain modes allow color adjustment.
- Adjust Brightness and Speed: Use the dedicated function key combinations to increase/decrease brightness and adjust the speed of dynamic lighting effects.

3.2 Multifunction Knob
The keyboard features a metal knob with bezel design for quick adjustments:
- Volume Control: Turn the knob to adjust the system volume.
- Play/Pause: Press the knob to play or pause media.
- Light Control: Press the knob to turn the backlight on or off.

3.3 Software and Customization
The keyboard supports custom software for advanced settings, including macro programming and further lighting customization. Visit the manufacturer's website to download the latest software for your K75 keyboard.

4. Maintenance
4.1 General Cleaning
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and body.
- Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard.
- Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
4.2 Hot-Swappable Switches
The K75 features hot-swappable switch sockets, allowing you to change switches without soldering. This enables customization of typing feel and sound.
- Removing Keycaps: Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove keycaps. Pull straight up to avoid damaging the switch stem.
- Removing Switches: Use the provided switch puller to carefully remove switches. Grip the switch firmly and pull straight up.
- Installing Switches: Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Press down gently until the switch clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
- Installing Keycaps: Align the keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly.

5. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
- Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
- Test the keyboard on another computer if possible to rule out a computer-specific issue.
- RGB Backlight Not Working/Incorrect:
- Check if the backlight is turned off using the multifunction knob.
- Cycle through different lighting modes using the designated function keys.
- Ensure the keyboard software (if installed) is not overriding the hardware controls.
- Keys Not Registering:
- For hot-swappable switches, ensure the switch is fully seated in its socket. Gently press down on the affected switch.
- If a specific key is consistently failing, consider replacing the switch for that key.
