1. Introduction

2. What's in the Box

Verify that all items are present in your product packaging:

Note: Wall charger and S Pen are sold separately.

3. Initial Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your Galaxy Z Fold5. Connect the provided USB cable to the device's USB-C port and to a compatible power adapter (sold separately). The device supports fast charging.

3.2. SIM Card Installation

To install your Nano-SIM card:

1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device.
2. Insert the SIM tray ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
3. Place your Nano-SIM card(s) into the tray with the gold contacts facing down. Ensure proper orientation as indicated on the tray.
4. Carefully push the tray back into the slot until it is flush with the device.

3.3. Powering On and Initial Configuration

Press and hold the Side key (Power button) until the Samsung Galaxy logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, sign in to your Google account, and transfer data from a previous device if desired.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1. Durability and Water Resistance

The Galaxy Z Fold5 is built with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for external protection and boasts an IPX8 water resistance rating. This means it is resistant to submersion in up to 5 feet of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. It is not advised for beach or pool use and is not dust- or sand-resistant. Rinse residue and dry after wet exposure.

5.2. Screen Care

The inner foldable screen has a pre-installed screen protector. Do not remove this film or apply other films or stickers, as doing so may damage the screen. Avoid pressing the screen with sharp objects or excessive force. When folding, ensure no foreign objects are between the screens.
