1. Product Overview

2. Setup and Pairing

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). To install:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
2. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Pairing Instructions

The remote does not come pre-paired and must be synced with your adjustable bed's control box. Follow these steps carefully:

4. Initiate Pairing on Remote: On the Richmat HJH55 remote, simultaneously press and hold the "Head Up" button (up arrow for head) and the "Foot Up" button (up arrow for foot) for approximately 10 seconds.
5. Activate Control Box Pairing: While still holding the "Head Up" and "Foot Up" buttons on the remote, press the "Learn" or "Reset Coding" button on the control box once. Do not press and hold the control box button.
6. Confirmation: You will hear a beep from the control box, indicating that the remote has successfully paired. Release the buttons on the remote.

If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat the steps, ensuring all connections are secure and buttons are pressed as instructed.

3. Operating the Remote Control

The Richmat HJH55 remote control provides intuitive operation for your adjustable bed. Familiarize yourself with the button functions:

• TV / Lounge / ZG: Preset positions for common comfort settings. Press to activate.
• Head Up/Down Arrows: Adjust the head section of the bed upwards or downwards.
• Foot Up/Down Arrows: Adjust the foot section of the bed upwards or downwards.
• M1 / M2 (and M3 on some models): Memory preset buttons. Press and hold to save a desired position, then press briefly to recall it.
• Flat: Returns the bed to a completely flat position.
