1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your WEELIAO Intel NUC 13 Mini PC, model NUC13ANKi5. As a barebone system, it requires the user to install RAM and an SSD before initial use.

2. Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in the package:

Note: RAM and SSD are not included in the barebone package and must be purchased separately.

3. Hardware Installation (Barebone System)

Before powering on your NUC, you must install RAM and an SSD.

3.1. Installing RAM (Memory)

1. Unscrew the four screws on the bottom cover of the NUC and carefully remove it.
2. Locate the SO-DIMM slots on the motherboard.
3. Align the notch on the SO-DIMM module with the notch in the slot.
4. Insert the module at a 45-degree angle and push down until the retaining clips snap into place.
5. Repeat for the second SO-DIMM module if installing dual-channel memory.

3.2. Installing SSD (Storage)

The NUC13ANKi5 supports M.2 SSDs.

1. Locate the M.2 slot on the motherboard.
2. Remove the small screw at the end of the M.2 slot.
3. Align the notch on the M.2 SSD with the notch in the slot.
4. Insert the SSD at a slight angle and push down.
5. Secure the SSD with the screw you removed earlier.

3.3. Reassembling the NUC

1. Carefully place the bottom cover back onto the NUC.
2. Secure the bottom cover with the four screws.

4. Initial Setup and Operation

4.1. Connecting Peripherals

• Display: Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI or Thunderbolt 4 ports. The NUC supports up to one 8K display or four 4K displays.
• Keyboard and Mouse: Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the available USB ports.
• Network: For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port. For wireless, ensure your Wi-Fi network is available.
• Power: Connect the AC power adapter to the NUC and then to a power outlet.
