5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your new watch strap:

1. Prepare Your Watch: If replacing an existing strap, carefully remove the old strap using a spring bar tool. Locate the spring bars that secure the strap to the watch lugs.
2. Identify Strap Ends: The BREFER watch strap consists of two parts: a shorter end with the buckle and a longer end with adjustment holes.
3. Insert Spring Bars: Insert the spring bars into the small tunnels at each end of the new watch strap. Ensure they are securely seated.
4. Attach Buckle End: Position the buckle end of the strap between the watch lugs. Compress one end of the spring bar and slide it into the corresponding lug hole. Then, compress the other end of the spring bar and guide it into the second lug hole. Gently wiggle the strap to ensure the spring bar is fully seated and locked into place.
5. Attach Long End: Repeat the process for the longer end of the strap, ensuring it is also securely attached to the watch lugs.
6. Verify Security: Once both parts of the strap are attached, gently pull on each side to confirm they are firmly secured to the watch.
