Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective operation of your INHALATOR YM201 Finger Pulse Oximeter. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
The INHALATOR YM201 Pulse Oximeter is designed for non-invasive, spot-check measurement of functional oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) and pulse rate. It is intended for sports and aviation use only and is not a medical device.
Product Overview
The INHALATOR YM201 features an HD dual-color OLED screen for clear display of SpO2, pulse rate, pulse waveform, and histogram. Its compact design and low power consumption make it suitable for portable use.

Setup
- Battery Installation: Open the battery cover on the back of the device. Insert two (2) AAA 1.5V batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-). Close the battery cover securely.
- Lanyard Attachment: If desired, attach the provided lanyard to the designated loop on the oximeter for easy carrying.
- Protective Film: A thin protective film may be present on the screen. Gently peel it off before first use for optimal display clarity.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to obtain a measurement:
- Insert Finger: Open the oximeter clamp and place one of your fingers (preferably the index finger) into the rubber opening of the oximeter. Ensure your finger is inserted completely into the chamber to allow the sensor to obtain accurate readings.
- Activate Device: Press the power button once to turn on the oximeter.
- Remain Still: Do not move your finger or body while the device is taking a reading. Movement can lead to inaccurate results.
- Read Results: Wait for approximately 8-10 seconds for the device to stabilize the readings and display your SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation) and PR (pulse rate) on the OLED screen.
- Power Off: The device will automatically shut down after 8 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Figure 3: Step-by-step guide for using the pulse oximeter: 1. Open and insert finger. 2. Ensure full insertion. 3. Press power button and remain still. 4. Wait for results.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the surface of the oximeter with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol (70% isopropyl alcohol is recommended). Do not immerse the device in water or any other cleaning solution.
- Storage: When not in use, store the oximeter in the provided storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the screen. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Avoid Drops: Handle the device with care to prevent damage from drops or impacts.
