Setup and Operation
Follow these steps to prepare your eggs:
- Prepare the Cooker: Place the cooker base on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging it into an electrical outlet.
- Add Water: Use the provided measuring cup to add the appropriate amount of water to the heating plate. The cup has markings for Soft, Medium, and Hard-boiled eggs. Pour the water directly onto the heating plate.
- Prepare Eggs: For boiled eggs, use the piercing pin located on the bottom of the measuring cup to gently pierce the large end of each egg. This helps prevent cracking during cooking. Place the eggs on the 7-egg tray with the pierced end facing upwards.
- Assemble: Place the egg tray onto the cooker base. Cover the eggs with the clear lid, ensuring it is securely in place.
- Start Cooking: Plug in the cooker and press the power switch to the ON position. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that cooking has begun.
- Automatic Shut-Off: The cooker will automatically shut off when all the water has evaporated, indicating the eggs are cooked to the selected firmness. The indicator light will turn off.
- Cool Down: Carefully remove the lid, being mindful of hot steam. Immediately transfer the cooked eggs to a bowl of cold water or an ice bath. This stops the cooking process and makes the eggs easier to peel.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your egg cooker.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: The 7-egg tray, clear lid, and measuring cup are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- Clean the Base: The cooker base, especially the heating plate, should be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
- Remove Mineral Deposits: Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate on the heating plate, especially when using tap water. To remove these, wipe the heating plate with a cloth dampened with a mixture of vinegar and water, or use a commercially available descaling solution.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker, refer to the following common solutions:
- Eggs cracking during cooking: Ensure you pierce the large end of each egg with the provided piercing pin before placing them on the tray. Using room temperature eggs can also help prevent cracking.
- Mineral deposits on the heating plate: This is a normal occurrence due to minerals in tap water. Clean the heating plate regularly with a vinegar and water solution or a descaling agent as described in the Maintenance section.
- Eggs not cooked to desired firmness: The measuring cup provides guidelines, but slight adjustments to the water level may be necessary based on egg size, initial temperature, and personal preference. Experiment with slightly more or less water to achieve your perfect result.
