Important Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.

Setup

2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 15 cm clearance on all sides). Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220V / 50Hz).

Operating Instructions

1. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. The water tank capacity is 1.3 liters.
2. Turn On: Press the "ON/OFF" button to start the ice making cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin producing bullet-shaped ice cubes. The first batch of ice typically takes about 6-9 minutes. Subsequent batches may be faster. The machine can produce up to 33 lbs of ice per day.
4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will turn on, and the ice making process will pause automatically. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
5. Water Shortage Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will turn on. Add more water to resume ice production.
6. Adjusting Ice Size: The ice cube size can be adjusted. Refer to the control panel for specific settings, if available.
7. Turn Off: Press the "ON/OFF" button again to stop the ice making process.

Maintenance

Automatic Cleaning Function

The HICON Ice Cube Maker features an automatic self-cleaning function:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
2. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for approximately 5 seconds.
3. The machine will enter a cleaning cycle that lasts for about 20 minutes.
4. After the cleaning cycle, drain the water from the unit using the manual drain plug located at the bottom.

Regular Cleaning

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Remove the ice basket and clean it with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
• Clean the interior of the water reservoir and ice collection area with a soft cloth dampened with a mild cleaning solution.
• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the unit.

Storage

When not in use for an extended period, drain all water from the unit, clean it thoroughly, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
