3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your ChillWell 2.0 Evaporative Air Cooler for optimal performance:

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the ChillWell 2.0 from its packaging.
2. Prepare the Cooling Cartridge: For best cooling results, wet the cooling cartridge and place it in your freezer for approximately 1 hour before use. This helps to super-cool the air.

3. Insert Cartridge: Once frozen, remove the cooling cartridge and place it back into the designated slot within the unit.

4. Fill Water Reservoir: Pour cold water directly into the fill area slowly, paying attention to the MAX FILL line on the water tank. The colder the water, the better the cooling effect.

5. Add Ice (Optional): For an even colder experience, remove the cooling cartridge and place a few ice cubes inside the tank. They will drop into the water to super-cool it.
6. Connect Power: Plug the USB charger into the unit and a power source.

4. Operating Instructions

The ChillWell 2.0 is designed for intuitive operation:

• Power On/Off: Press the power button on the top panel to turn the unit on or off.
• Adjust Fan Speed: Cycle through the 4 powerful cooling modes (Low, Medium, High, and SUPER CHILL Turbo Mode) by pressing the fan speed button.

• Adjust Airflow Direction: Manually adjust the vent louvers to direct the cool air where you need it most.
• Night Light Control: Press the light button to activate the built-in LED night light. Continue pressing to cycle through the 7 available colors (blue, red, white, teal, purple, yellow, green) or select the color cycle mode.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your ChillWell 2.0:

• Cooling Cartridge Replacement: The cooling cartridge should be replaced every 1-3 months, depending on usage, to maintain optimal performance and air quality.

• Cleaning: The unit's care instructions specify "Hand wash only". Regularly clean the water reservoir and cooling cartridge to prevent the buildup of mold, mildew, or mineral deposits. Use mild soap and water, and ensure all parts are dry before reassembly.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ChillWell 2.0, try the following:

• Unit Not Turning On: Ensure the USB charger is securely connected to both the unit and a working power outlet. Check if the battery is charged if operating cordlessly.
• Not Cooling Effectively: Verify the water reservoir is filled to the MAX FILL line with cold water. Ensure the cooling cartridge is wet and, for best results, has been frozen prior to use. Clean the cooling cartridge if it appears dirty or clogged.
• Leaking Water: Do not overfill the water reservoir beyond the MAX FILL line. Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface.
• Unusual Odor: This may indicate mold or mildew buildup. Thoroughly clean the water reservoir and cooling cartridge as per maintenance instructions.
