1. Product Overview

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Assembly

1. Turn the top cover counter-clockwise to remove it.
2. Take out any internal accessories from the food hopper.
3. Place the food bowl base onto the bottom of the feeder unit.
4. Insert the stainless steel bowl into the food bowl base.

3.2 Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply for continuous operation:

• Primary Power: Connect the 5V DC adapter and power cord to a wall outlet.
• Backup Power: Install 3 alkaline D-cell batteries (not included) in the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. This ensures feeding continues during power outages.

3.3 Filling the Food Hopper

The transparent food hopper allows you to monitor food levels easily. Ensure the lid is securely closed after filling to maintain food freshness and prevent pets from accessing it.

• Open the top lid by rotating it counter-clockwise.
• Pour dry pet food into the hopper.
• Close the lid by aligning the triangular symbols and rotating it clockwise until secure.

Important: Use kibble sizes between 2-10mm to prevent clogging. Do not use kibble larger than 10mm.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Setting the Current Time

The feeder uses a 24-hour clock format (e.g., 5 PM is 17:00).

1. Press and hold the UNLOCK button for 3 seconds to unlock the screen.
2. Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds until the hour icon starts blinking.
3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through numbers and set the hour.
4. Press the SET button to move to the minute field.
5. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the minutes.
6. Press the SET button to save the settings.

4.2 Manual Feeding

To dispense one portion of food manually:

1. Press and hold the UNLOCK button for 3 seconds to unlock the screen.
2. Press both the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously to dispense one portion.

4.3 Setting the Feeding Schedule

The feeder allows you to program up to 4 meals per day, with 1-9 portions per meal (approximately 7g ± 2g per portion).

1. After unlocking the screen, press the SET button. The 'MEAL' icon will blink.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the number of meals (1-4) per day, then press SET to save.
3. When the time icon (e.g., '00:00') is flashing, use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the hour for the first meal.
4. Press SET to move to the minute field and set the minutes.
5. When the 'PORTION' icon is blinking, use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the number of portions (1-9) for this meal.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th meals if desired.
7. Press the SET button to confirm and complete all settings.

4.4 Safety Lock Feature

The feeder includes a safety lock design to prevent pets from accidentally dispensing food or tampering with settings. The screen automatically locks after a period of inactivity. To unlock, press and hold the UNLOCK button for 3 seconds.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning of the feeder. The food tray is removable for easy cleaning. Hand wash only for all removable parts.

• Remove the food bowl and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
• Wipe the main feeder unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water.
• Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

5.2 Anti-Clogging Design

The feeder incorporates a double rotor design for accurate food portions and a 45-degree slope for smooth food delivery, minimizing clogs. To maintain this, ensure only recommended kibble sizes are used.

6. Troubleshooting

• Feeder Not Dispensing: Check power supply (AC adapter and batteries). Ensure the food hopper is not empty and that kibble size is within the recommended range (2-10mm). Verify that the feeding schedule is correctly set.
