4. Setup and Conversion

The hand truck arrives in a folded state. Follow these steps to unfold and convert it between the 2-wheel dolly and 4-wheel cart configurations.

1. Unfolding the Wheels (Initial Setup): Locate the bottom switch. Pull down on this switch to release and deploy the wheels. Ensure all wheels are securely in place.
2. Deploying the Handle: Pinch the handle switch (usually red) and open the main handle lever upwards until it locks into position.
3. Adjusting Handle Height and Platform (Cart Mode): Pinch the handle switch again to adjust the handle to your desired height (3 gears available). Simultaneously, pull the main baffle (platform) upwards until it locks into the 4-wheel cart position.
4. Converting to 2-Wheel Dolly Mode: To switch to the 2-wheel dolly configuration, locate and pinch the transfer switch. This will allow the platform to fold down, and the unit will stand upright on two wheels. Ensure it locks securely.

To fold the hand truck for storage, reverse these steps, ensuring all locking mechanisms are disengaged before folding.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Using as a 4-Wheel Platform Cart

• Ensure the hand truck is fully converted to the 4-wheel cart mode as described in Section 4.
• Place items onto the platform, distributing weight evenly.
• Use the included adjustable bungee cords to secure the load to the handle or frame, preventing movement during transport.
• Grasp the padded handle and push or pull the cart. The 360-degree swivel wheels allow for easy maneuverability.

5.2. Using as a 2-Wheel Hand Truck

• Ensure the hand truck is fully converted to the 2-wheel dolly mode as described in Section 4.
• Slide the toe plate under the item to be moved.
• Tilt the hand truck backward, using your foot on the axle bar for leverage if needed, until the load is balanced over the wheels.
• Use the adjustable bungee cords to secure the load to the frame.
• Transport the item by pushing or pulling the hand truck.

5.3. Handle Adjustment

The handle can be adjusted to three different heights. To adjust, pinch the handle switch and slide the handle up or down to the desired position. Release the switch to lock it in place. Ensure the handle is securely locked before moving any items.
