3. Setup and Installation

The Giantex massage chair features an installation-free design, meaning minimal assembly is required. However, proper placement and initial setup are crucial.

Unpacking and Placement:

  1. Carefully remove the chair from its packaging. Keep the original packaging for potential returns or future transport.
  2. Ensure your doorway is at least 30.7 inches wide to allow the package to pass through.
  3. Place the chair on a flat, stable surface. Allow at least 2 inches of clearance from any wall for the reclining function.
  4. The chair is equipped with built-in wheels for easier movement. Tilt the chair backward and roll it to your desired location.

Connecting Power:

  • Connect the power cord to the chair's power input.
  • Plug the power cord into a standard 110-120V, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet.
  • Ensure the power switch on the chair is in the 'OFF' position before plugging it in.

4. Operating Instructions

Remote Control Overview:

The chair is operated primarily via the LCD color screen controller. Refer to Figure 3 for button identification.

Starting a Massage:

  1. Press the power button on the remote or armrest to turn on the chair.
  2. The chair will perform an automatic shoulder positioning detection. Adjust the shoulder position using the remote if needed (10 levels available).
  3. Select an automatic massage mode from the 12 available options, or choose a manual massage technique.
  4. Adjust massage speed, width, and air pressure intensity to your preference.
  5. The default massage time is 20 minutes. You can adjust this using the timing key.

Specific Functions:

  • Zero Gravity: Press the zero-gravity button to cycle through the three recline angles.
  • SL Track Massage: The 53-inch SL track ensures massage rollers cover from your neck to your thighs.
  • Airbag Massage: Activate full-body air compression massage for shoulders, arms, calves, and feet.
  • Heat Therapy: Turn on the back heating function for soothing warmth.
  • Foot Rollers: Activate the foot roller massage for foot sole stimulation.

Bluetooth and Voice Control:

  • Bluetooth Pairing: Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and connect to the chair's Bluetooth speaker. You can then play music through the chair.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

6. Troubleshooting

Chair Does Not Power On:

Massage Rollers Not Moving:

Airbags Not Inflating:

  • Verify that the air pressure massage function is activated on the remote control.

No Heat from Back Heater:

  • Ensure the heating function is turned on via the remote control.
  • Allow a few minutes for the heating elements to warm up.
