2. Safety Information

The IWASHN GP50 Portable Power Station is designed with safety in mind, utilizing a LiFePO4 battery and an advanced Battery Management System (BMS). However, it is crucial to follow these safety guidelines:

5. Setup

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the power station.

Initial Charging:

  1. Connect the provided AC adapter to the DC input port on the power station.
  2. Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. The display will indicate charging status. Full charge via AC adapter takes approximately 8-10 hours.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Charging the Power Station

The GP50 supports multiple charging methods:

  • PD60W Fast Charging (USB-C): Use a separately purchased PD charger (60W or more) with the USB-C port. Full charge takes approximately 4-6 hours.
  • Solar Panel Charging: Connect a compatible solar panel (not included) to the DC input port. The MPPT control method maximizes charging efficiency. Supports up to 80W solar input. Charging time varies with light intensity.
  • AC Outlet Charging: Use the included AC adapter. Full charge takes approximately 8-10 hours.
  • Cigarette Lighter Charging: Car charging is possible (cigarette lighter cable not included).

Important Note: Do not charge the power station via both the DC input port and the USB-C input port simultaneously.

6.2 Powering Devices (Output)

Turn on the power station using the main power switch. The display will show the remaining battery level.

  • DC Output (Adjustable Voltage): The DC port offers adjustable voltage outputs (12V/5A, 16.5V/4A, 20V/3.5A, 24V/3.5A) to suit various devices like CPAP machines and laptops. Ensure the voltage switch is set correctly for your device. If the voltage adjustment switch is ON and no current is flowing, the unit will shut down after 2 hours. If the voltage adjustment switch is OFF, the unit will shut down after 2 minutes.
  • Cigarette Lighter Output (12V/15A max): Two cigarette lighter ports are available, providing 12V/15A (max) output. These are suitable for car refrigerators, amateur radio equipment (e.g., FT 891 M, FT 991 AM), and other 12V accessories. The power station is designed to prevent car refrigerators from shutting down prematurely due to low battery.
  • USB Output (PD60W & QC3.0): The USB-C port supports PD60W bi-directional fast charging for compatible phones and laptops. Two USB-A ports provide QC3.0 fast charging (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A) for game consoles, mobile phones, and tablets.
  • Wireless Output (10W): Place compatible devices on the wireless charging area for 10W wireless charging.

6.3 LED Light Operation

To activate the LED light, quickly press the dedicated LED light button twice in a row. This will turn the LED lamp on/off. For the orange warning light, press and hold the LED light button.

  • Automatic shutdown: If the DC voltage adjustment switch is ON and no current is flowing, the unit will shut down after 2 hours. If the switch is OFF, it will shut down after 2 minutes. This is normal behavior to conserve power.
