Operating Instructions
The West Biking Mini Bike Pump is designed for ease of use with its dual-valve compatibility and extendable hose.
Valve Compatibility (Presta & Schrader):
This pump features a dual-valve design that automatically adapts to both Presta and Schrader valves without requiring manual conversion or additional adapters.

Figure 4: The pump's head automatically adjusts for Presta and Schrader valves.
Inflation Process:
- Prepare the Pump: Remove the valve head from its storage position on the pump body.
- Extend the Hose: The pump features a hidden TPU flexible hose. Unlock the mechanism around the nozzle to extend the hose for easier pumping. This allows for a more comfortable pumping angle and reduces stress on the valve stem.
- Connect to Valve: Firmly press the pump's valve head onto your tire's valve stem. Ensure a snug fit.
- Lock the Nozzle: Lift the high-strength locking buckle on the pump head to secure it to the valve stem. This prevents the nozzle from detaching during inflation.
- Inflate: Begin pumping by moving the handle up and down. The pump is designed to inflate tires to a pressure of 80-100 PSI.
- Release: Once the desired pressure is reached, press the locking buckle down to release the air nozzle, then carefully remove the pump from the valve.
- Retract Hose: Push the hose back into its hidden position and secure the valve head.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and performance of your West Biking Mini Bike Pump.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the pump with a clean, damp cloth after each use, especially if it has been exposed to dirt or moisture. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the pump in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the hose is retracted and the valve head is secured to prevent damage.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the pump for any signs of wear or damage, particularly the hose and valve head. If any components appear damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pump, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pump not inflating tire | Nozzle not securely locked; Valve head not fully seated; Tire valve is faulty. | Ensure the locking buckle is fully engaged. Press the valve head firmly onto the tire valve. Inspect tire valve for damage. |
| Air leaking from connection point | Improper connection; Worn valve seals. | Re-attach the pump head, ensuring a tight seal and locked buckle. If problem persists, contact support. |
| Pump feels stiff or difficult to operate | Lack of lubrication; Internal debris. | Ensure the pump is clean. A small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to the piston seal if accessible, but generally, this pump is maintenance-free in this regard. |
