Setup
1. Initial Inspection
Upon unboxing, carefully inspect the guitar for any visible damage. Ensure all components listed in "What's in the Box" are present.
2. Tuning
Use a digital tuner to tune your guitar. The 18:1 mental tuning pegs are designed for stable and accurate tuning. Gently turn the pegs to adjust string tension until each string reaches its correct pitch (E, A, D, G, B, E from thickest to thinnest).

3. Action Adjustment (Optional)
The guitar's action (string height) is factory set. If you prefer a lower or higher action, adjustments can be made at the bridge. Use the provided Allen wrench to adjust the bridge saddles. Lowering the action too much may cause fret buzz.
4. Pickup Height Adjustment (Optional)
The height of the humbucker pickups can be adjusted using the small screws on either side of each pickup. Adjusting pickup height can alter the output volume and tone. Experiment to find your preferred setting.
Operating Instructions
1. Connecting to an Amplifier
Use the provided connection cable to link your Fesley FLP350 Electric Guitar to an amplifier. Insert one end into the guitar's output jack and the other into your amplifier's input.
2. Pickup Selector Switch
The 3-way toggle switch allows you to select different pickup configurations:
- Up Position: Activates the neck pickup (for warmer, smoother tones).
- Middle Position: Activates both neck and bridge pickups (for a balanced, full sound).
- Down Position: Activates the bridge pickup (for brighter, more aggressive tones).

3. Volume and Tone Knobs
- Volume Knobs: Two independent volume knobs control the output level of each humbucker pickup.
- Tone Knob: The single tone knob adjusts the overall brightness or warmth of your sound. Turn clockwise for brighter tones, counter-clockwise for warmer tones.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe down the guitar body, neck, and strings with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove sweat and grime. For the matte finish, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry one. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
2. String Replacement
Replace strings regularly to maintain optimal tone and playability. The guitar uses alloy steel strings. When replacing, change one string at a time to maintain neck tension.
3. Fretboard Care
Periodically clean the purpleheart fretboard with a specialized fretboard cleaner and conditioner to prevent drying and cracking. The included sanding block can be used for minor fret polishing if needed, but use with caution.
4. Storage
Store the guitar in its gig bag when not in use to protect it from dust, humidity changes, and physical damage. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Fret Buzz: Check string action at the bridge. If too low, raise the bridge saddles slightly. Ensure the neck relief is correct (consult a guitar technician if unsure about truss rod adjustments).
- Poor Tuning Stability: Ensure strings are properly wound around the tuning pegs. Stretch new strings thoroughly. Check the nut for any binding issues.
- No Sound/Weak Sound: Verify the connection cable is securely plugged into both the guitar and amplifier. Check amplifier settings and volume levels. Ensure pickup selector switch is engaged.
- Uneven Fretboard/Fret Sprout: While the guitar is designed for smooth frets, minor issues can occur. The included sanding block can address minor fret polishing. For significant issues, professional setup is recommended.
