6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Basic Operation
Upon powering on, the display will show the current temperature (RT) and relative humidity (RH) measured by the probe.
6.2. Setting Temperature Parameters
The KT6000 allows for independent day and night temperature settings.

Figure 6.1: Temperature Regulation Parameters.
| Code | Signification | Setting Range |
|---|---|---|
| M | Temperature control mode | HEAT/COOL |
| DAY SET | Day temperature setting | 0~50℃ |
| NIGHT SET | Night temperature setting | 0~50℃ |
| DIFFERENCE | Differential value (Hysteresis) | 0.1~20℃ |
| ALARM | Over-temperature alarm value | 1~20℃ |
| ☀️ | Day start time | 00:00~22:59 |
| 🌙 | Night start time | 01:00~23:59 |
To adjust these parameters:
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter the parameter setting mode.
- Use the Up and Down buttons to navigate through the codes (M, DAY SET, NIGHT SET, etc.).
- Press SET again to select a parameter. Use Up and Down to change its value.
- Press SET to confirm the value and move to the next parameter, or wait 10 seconds for the device to automatically save and exit.
6.3. Setting Humidity Parameters
Similar to temperature, you can set independent day and night humidity levels.

Figure 6.2: Humidity Regulation Parameters.
| Code | Signification | Setting Range |
|---|---|---|
| M | Humidity control mode | HUMI/DEHUMI |
| DAY SET | Day humidity setting | 1~99% RH |
| NIGHT SET | Night humidity setting | 1~99% RH |
| DIFFERENCE | Differential value (Hysteresis) | 1~30% RH |
| ALARM | Over-humidity alarm value | 1~30% RH |
| ☀️ | Day start time | 00:00~22:59 |
| 🌙 | Night start time | 01:00~23:59 |
The adjustment procedure is the same as for temperature parameters.
6.4. Day/Night Cycle Programming
The device automatically switches between day and night settings based on the configured start times.

Figure 6.3: Day/Night cycle programming concept.
Ensure the Day start time and Night start time are set correctly to define your 24-hour cycle. For example, if Day starts at 07:00 and Night starts at 18:00, the device will operate on day settings from 07:00 to 17:59 and on night settings from 18:00 to 06:59 the next day.
6.5. Alarm Function
The KT6000 features audible and visual alarms for out-of-range conditions.
- When temperature or humidity exceeds the set ALARM threshold, the alarm indicator will flash, and a buzzer will sound.
- The buzzer sound can be disabled in the settings if desired.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit and probe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Probe Care: Keep the probe clean and free from debris. Avoid bending or damaging the probe cable.
- Storage: When not in use, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank | No power; loose connection. | Check power outlet; ensure power cable is securely plugged in. |
| Inaccurate readings | Probe dirty or damaged; probe incorrectly placed. | Clean the probe; ensure probe is in a representative location; replace probe if damaged. |
| Connected device not turning on/off | Incorrect parameter settings; device malfunction. | Verify DAY SET/NIGHT SET and DIFFERENCE values; check if the connected device is working independently. |
| Alarm constantly sounding | ALARM threshold too narrow; actual environment outside desired range. | Adjust ALARM parameter; check environmental conditions and connected devices. |
