It offers precise and dependable location data, ensuring reliable navigation for your aerial vehicles. This module is compatible with a wide range of flight controllers, including F405 and F722, and supports dual protocols for versatile integration.
Key features include:
- Dual-Protocol Compatibility: Supports both NMEA and UBX protocols for broad device and flight controller compatibility.
- Accurate Positioning: Utilizes advanced GPS technology for precise and reliable location data.
- Simple Installation: Compact and lightweight design facilitates easy mounting on various RC aircraft.
- Quick Satellite Lock: Engineered for rapid acquisition of satellite signals, even in challenging environments.
- Additional Features: M10 Dual Protocol GPS system, ultra-compact and lightweight, supports BDS satellites, and includes a built-in battery to prevent issues from poor battery connections.
Setup and Installation
The BZGNSS BZ-121 GPS Module is designed for straightforward integration. Its PCB Pad interface allows for direct soldering to your flight controller. Ensure proper wiring according to your flight controller's documentation.
Important Note: For optimal performance and compatibility, your flight controller requires firmware version 4.29 or above. Firmware versions below 4.29 will utilize the NMEA protocol.
The module's compact size (12x16x4.5mm) and low weight (2.2g) allow for flexible mounting options on your RC airplane or FPV fixed-wing aircraft. Secure the module firmly to prevent movement during flight.

Operating Instructions
Once correctly installed and powered, the BZ-121 GPS module will begin searching for satellite signals. The PPS lamp (red indicator) will flash after achieving a 3D position lock, indicating successful satellite acquisition.
The module supports multiple global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) including GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, SBAS, and QZSS. By default, it operates with GPS+GLONASS+BDS joint positioning for enhanced accuracy and reliability.
The output protocol can be configured to either NMEA or UBLOX, with a default output frequency of 10Hz (adjustable from 1Hz-10Hz). Refer to your flight controller's software configuration guide for specific settings related to GPS module integration and protocol selection.
