Product Overview

The Commercial Electric 4-inch Color Temperature Select LED Downlight offers an efficient and modern upgrade for existing recessed lighting. These LED downlights are designed for compatibility with most dimmer switches and feature unique Color Changing Technology (CCT).

Users can select their preferred color temperature from Warm White (2700K) to Daylight (5000K), including Soft White (3000K), Neutral White (3500K), and Bright White (4000K), using a switch located on the back of the downlight. This allows for testing and selection of the ideal light appearance before final installation.

Each unit consumes only 8.5 Watts of energy, providing light output comparable to a 65-Watt incandescent bulb. These LED downlights are rated for an extended lifetime of 50,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 34 years of typical use, significantly outlasting traditional incandescent BR30 lightbulbs.

They are compatible with most 4-inch recessed housings and include a medium (E26) socket base adapter for straightforward installation.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED recessed trim:

1. Preparation: Ensure power to the existing recessed lighting fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
2. Remove Existing Bulb: Carefully remove the existing light bulb from the recessed housing.
3. Attach Adapter: Screw the provided E26 socket base adapter into the existing light socket within the recessed housing.
4. Connect Downlight: Connect the wire from the LED downlight to the E26 socket base adapter. Ensure a secure connection.
5. Select Color Temperature (CCT): Before fully installing the downlight into the housing, locate the CCT selection switch on the back of the LED downlight. Choose your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K).
6. Install Downlight: Gently push the LED downlight into the 4-inch recessed housing until it is flush with the ceiling. The spring clips will secure it in place.
7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

Color Temperature Selection

The LED downlight features an adjustable color temperature (CCT) switch located on the back of the fixture. This switch allows you to select from five distinct color temperatures:

• 2700K: Warm White
• 3000K: Soft White
• 3500K: Neutral White
• 4000K: Bright White
• 5000K: Daylight

To change the color temperature, you must access the switch on the back of the downlight. It is recommended to select the desired CCT before final installation into the ceiling housing.

Dimming Functionality

These LED downlights are dimmable and compatible with most standard dimmer switches. For optimal performance and to avoid flickering or buzzing, ensure your dimmer switch is rated for LED lighting. Dimming range is typically 10% to 100%.

Care and Maintenance

The Commercial Electric LED Recessed Trim requires minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or electrical components.
• Bulb Replacement: These units feature integrated LED technology, meaning the LED light source is built into the fixture and is not user-replaceable. The estimated lifetime is 50,000 hours.
