Installation Instructions

Tools Required (Not Included):

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Drill (if new hole is required)
  • Sealant tape (Teflon tape)

Step-by-Step Installation:

  1. Turn off Water Supply: Locate the main water supply valve and turn it off. Open a nearby faucet to relieve pressure.
  2. Prepare Mounting Hole: If installing in a new location, drill a single hole of appropriate diameter (typically 1/2 inch to 1 inch) in the countertop or sink deck. Ensure the area is clean and dry.
  3. Install Faucet Body: Insert the threaded shank of the faucet body through the mounting hole from above the sink.
  4. Secure Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and then the mounting nut onto the threaded shank. Hand-tighten the nut, then use an adjustable wrench to secure it firmly. Do not overtighten.
  5. Connect Water Line: Attach your 1/4 inch water supply tubing to the faucet's inlet connection. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection. It is recommended to use sealant tape on threaded connections. This faucet is designed for non-air gap filtration or reverse osmosis systems.
  6. Check for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for leaks. Tighten any leaking connections as necessary.
  7. Flush System: Allow water to run through the faucet for several minutes to flush out any air or debris from the new installation.

Operation

The IPW Industries Inc Series 303 Designer Faucet features a simple lever-style valve for controlling water flow.

  • To Turn On: Gently lift the lever handle upwards. The further you lift, the greater the water flow.
  • To Turn Off: Push the lever handle downwards until the water flow stops completely.
  • Swivel Spout: The long reach spout can be swiveled 360 degrees to direct water flow as needed.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Faucet:

  • Clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap and water.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the chrome finish.

Regular Checks:

  • Periodically check all connections under the sink for any signs of leaks. Tighten if necessary.
  • Inspect the spout for any mineral buildup, especially if you have hard water. Clean the aerator (if present) as needed.
