2. Important Safety Instructions

  • The stoneware is designed for use with this appliance only. It must never be used on a stovetop, under a broiler, or in a microwave oven.

4. Initial Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if desired.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Wash the removable stoneware and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The stoneware and lid are also dishwasher safe (see Maintenance section). Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water.
  3. Placement: Place the heating base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
  4. Assembly: Insert the clean stoneware into the heating base. Place the glass lid on top of the stoneware.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Slow Cook Mode

  1. Prepare Food: Place ingredients into the stoneware.
  2. Select Mode: Press the SLOW COOK button on the digital control panel.
  3. Set Temperature: Use the + or - buttons under the temperature display to select HIGH or LOW.
  4. Set Time: Use the + or - buttons under the time display to set the desired cooking duration (from 30 minutes to 20 hours).
  5. Start Cooking: Press the START button. The timer will begin counting down.
  6. Keep Warm: Once the cooking time is complete, the slow cooker will automatically switch to the KEEP WARM setting for up to 6 hours. The display will show "WARM" and count up the warming time.
  7. Stop: To stop cooking or warming at any time, press the STOP button.

5.2. Sous Vide Mode

Sous Vide cooking involves cooking food in a precisely temperature-controlled water bath. This method ensures even cooking and consistent results.

  1. Fill Stoneware: Fill the stoneware with water to a level that will fully submerge your food.
  2. Prepare Food: Season and vacuum-seal your food in a food-grade, heat-safe bag.
  3. Select Mode: Press the SOUS VIDE button on the digital control panel.
  4. Set Temperature: Use the + or - buttons under the temperature display to set the desired water bath temperature.
  5. Set Time: Use the + or - buttons under the time display to set the desired cooking duration (from 30 minutes to 30 hours).
  6. Insert Probe: Insert the removable temperature probe into the designated port on the control panel. Secure the probe clip to the side of the stoneware, ensuring the probe tip is submerged in the water but not touching the bottom or sides of the stoneware.
  7. Preheat Water: Press the START button. The unit will begin heating the water to the set temperature. The display will show the current water temperature.
  8. Add Food: Once the water reaches the target temperature, carefully place the sealed food bag into the water bath, ensuring it is fully submerged.
  9. Cook: The timer will begin counting down once the water reaches the set temperature.
  10. Finish: After cooking, remove the food from the water bath. For a seared finish, quickly sear the food in a hot pan or on a grill.
  11. Stop: To stop cooking at any time, press the STOP button.

5.3. Cook & Carry Feature

The Cook & Carry feature allows for secure transportation of your slow cooker. To engage the locking lid:

  1. Ensure the lid is properly seated on the stoneware.
  2. Flip the wire clips on the side of the base upwards and over the lid handles until they securely latch.
  3. To unlock, reverse the process.

6. Care and Maintenance

  • Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Stoneware and Lid: The removable stoneware and glass lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may scratch surfaces.
  • Heating Base: Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.

  • Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the slow cooker in a dry place.
