4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is straightforward and typically takes about 15 minutes. An installation video is available on the product page for visual guidance. For a detailed step-by-step guide, please refer to the official Installation Manual (PDF) provided by Winrise.

General Assembly Steps:

  1. Insert the five casters (F) into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base (E). Push firmly until they click into place.
  2. Place the gas lift cylinder (D) into the center hole of the star base (E).
  3. Attach the mechanism plate (G) to the underside of the seat cushion (B) using the provided screws from the hardware pack (H). Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
  4. Align the backrest (A) with the pre-drilled holes on the seat cushion (B) and secure it using screws.
  5. Attach the armrests (C) to both the backrest (A) and the seat cushion (B) using the remaining screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly (left and right).
  6. Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder (D). The chair should sit securely on the cylinder.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Winrise office chair offers several adjustable features to customize your seating experience:

5.1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. While holding the lever, stand up to raise the seat or remain seated to lower it. Release the lever at your desired height to lock it in place. The maximum height adjustable range is between 36.9 inches and 40.9 inches.

5.2. Lumbar Support Adjustment

The adjustable lumbar support is designed to protect your spine and relieve back pain. The lumbar support can be adjusted up and down by approximately 1.2 inches to fit the curve of your back.

5.3. Back Rocking Function and Tilt Control

To activate the rocking function, pull out the lever located on the left side of the seat. The chair can swing at a 30-degree angle for comfortable resting. To lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever back in. The tilt tension can be adjusted by rotating the knob located underneath the seat, allowing you to control the resistance of the rocking motion.

5.4. Flip-Up Armrests

The armrests can be rotated 90 degrees upwards. This feature allows the chair to be placed under a desk when not in use, saving space and facilitating storage. The padded armrests provide additional comfort and support.
