5. Setup and Installation

Installation is designed to be straightforward and typically requires 15-30 minutes. No drilling is required.

5.1. Preparation

1. Clean the truck bed rails thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of weather stripping and secure clamping.
2. Apply the provided weather stripping along the bulkhead (front of the truck bed) if necessary, ensuring a tight seal.

5.2. Placing the Tonneau Cover

1. Carefully place the folded tonneau cover onto the truck bed rails, positioning the front panel closest to the cab.
2. Ensure the cover is centered and aligned properly with the truck bed.

5.3. Securing the Clamps

1. Locate the front clamps on the underside of the cover's front panel.
2. Hook the clamps under the truck bed rail and tighten them securely by hand. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the bed rails.
3. Unfold the middle panel of the tonneau cover.
4. Locate the middle clamps and secure them to the truck bed rails in the same manner as the front clamps.
5. Unfold the rear panel of the tonneau cover.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Folding the Cover

1. To open the cover, release the rear clamps by pulling the release cables or levers located on the underside of the rear panel.
2. Fold the rear panel forward onto the middle panel.
3. If full bed access is needed, release the middle clamps and fold both panels towards the cab.
4. Secure the folded panels using the integrated buckle straps near the cab to prevent movement during transit.

6.2. Closing the Cover

1. Release the buckle straps securing the folded panels.
2. Carefully unfold the panels towards the tailgate, ensuring each section lays flat and aligns with the bed rails.
3. Press down firmly on each panel to engage the latches. Ensure all clamps are securely fastened.
4. Close and lock your truck's tailgate to fully secure the tonneau cover and its contents.
