Operating Your Telescope
1. Looking Through the Eyepiece
Place your eye gently against the large eyepiece. The telescope is designed with a wide field of vision, making it easier for young children to locate and observe objects. Keep both eyes open if comfortable, or close one eye.

2. Focusing the Image
Use the yellow easy-focus knob located on the side of the telescope to adjust the clarity of the image. Turn the knob slowly until the object you are viewing appears sharp and clear. This telescope provides 12.5x magnification.
3. Observing Different Objects
The GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope is suitable for observing a variety of objects, from nature in your backyard to the moon and stars in the night sky. Encourage exploration of birds, insects, plants, and celestial bodies. Remember to never look directly at the sun through the telescope, as this can cause serious eye damage.
