1. Introduction

This instruction manual provides detailed guidance for assembling and using your CC KITS Full-Size Conversion Kit Bed Rails. This kit is designed to convert your compatible convertible crib into a full-size bed, extending the life and utility of your nursery furniture. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly to ensure proper installation and safe use.

2. Crib Compatibility

This conversion kit is specifically designed for use with the following convertible crib models by Franklin & Ben, now known as Monogram by Namesake:

• Emory Farmhouse (Model: B14501) - Note: NOT compatible with Emory 3-in-1 Crib.

3. Parts List

Before beginning assembly, ensure all components are present and undamaged. The conversion kit includes:

• 2 x Wooden Bed Rails (Truffle finish)
• 4 x Slats
• Hardware (bolts, washers, nuts as required for assembly)
• Instruction Manual (this document)

Additional slats, safety bed rail guards for toddlers, and mattresses are sold separately and are not included in this kit.

4. Setup and Installation

The conversion process from crib to full-size bed typically takes 20-30 minutes. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Prepare the Crib: Disassemble the crib by removing the side rails. Retain the headboard and footboard, as these will form the ends of your new full-size bed.
2. Attach Bed Rails: Align the wooden bed rails with the pre-drilled holes on the headboard and footboard. Secure them using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are tight and stable.
3. Install Slats: Place the included slats across the bed rails to support the mattress. For optimal support and to meet the 600 lbs weight capacity, additional slats (sold separately) are recommended. Ensure slats are evenly spaced and securely fastened if applicable.
4. Add Mattress: Place a full-size mattress onto the installed slats. Consider using a roll of slats instead of a box spring for a lower mattress height, which can be beneficial for younger children.

5. Usage

Once assembled, the full-size bed provides a secure and comfortable sleeping environment. The design utilizes your existing crib's headboard and footboard, offering a familiar aesthetic for your child's transition to a larger bed. The bed is designed to support up to 600 pounds when used with sufficient slats.

6. Maintenance

To maintain the quality and appearance of your bed rails, wipe them with a dry cloth as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish. Regularly check all hardware connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
