3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
- Carefully remove the chop saw and all components from the packaging.
- Inspect the saw for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. Do not operate if damaged.

3.2 Securing the Saw

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Workpiece Preparation
- Material Compatibility: This saw is suitable for steel bars, rebar, angle iron, and aluminum. Ceramic saw blades are not recommended for cutting stainless steel.
- Clamping: Always secure the workpiece firmly in the vise. The thickened vise with wave patterns provides increased friction and clamping tightness.
4.2 Adjusting for Angle Cuts (0-45°)
The saw features a tool-less adjustable fence for miter cuts:
- Unlock: Gently turn the adjustment device to unlock the fence.
- Adjust Angle: Pivot the fence to the desired angle between 0 and 45 degrees.
- Lock: Securely lock the fence in position before cutting.

4.3 Starting and Cutting Procedure
- Power On: Connect the saw to a suitable power outlet (AC120V 60 Hz).
- Initiate Start: Press the two safety buttons simultaneously to turn on the machine. The soft start device will allow the machine to start smoothly.
- Full Speed: Allow the blade to reach its full no-load speed of 1200 RPM before beginning the cut.
- Cutting: Grip the handle firmly and lower the blade evenly and smoothly downward through the workpiece. Do not apply excessive force to avoid teeth chipping or motor strain.
- Spark Guard: The protective spark guard will automatically wrap around the blade as it lifts, preventing injuries from chipping or splashing debris.

5. Maintenance
