2. Safety Information

4. Setup
4.1 Attaching the Detachable Basin
The pottery wheel includes a removable ABS basin designed to catch water and clay splashes, keeping your workspace clean. To attach the basin:
- Align the two halves of the basin around the base of the turntable.
- Gently press the basin halves together until they snap securely into place. Ensure a snug fit to prevent leaks.

4.2 Adjusting Turntable Height (Optional)
The height of the turntable can be adjusted for ergonomic comfort or specific project needs:
- Locate the screw on the side of the turntable shaft.
- Insert the provided Allen key into the screw and loosen it.
- Adjust the turntable to your desired height.
- Tighten the screw firmly with the Allen key to secure the turntable in place.

4.3 Connecting Power
Connect the power adapter to the power interface on the machine and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
The machine features a rotation switch for speed control and a forward/reverse switch for direction.

- Power On/Off: Use the main power switch to turn the machine on or off.
- Speed Adjustment: Rotate the speed control knob to adjust the turntable's rotation speed from 0 to 2000 revolutions per minute (r/min). Start with a lower speed and gradually increase as needed.
- Direction Control: Use the forward/reverse switch to change the direction of the turntable's rotation.

5.2 Changing Turntables
The machine comes with two different sized turntables (6.5cm and 10cm) for various pottery needs.

- Ensure the machine is turned off and unplugged.
- Loosen the screw on the side of the turntable shaft using the Allen key.
- Carefully remove the current turntable.
- Place the desired turntable onto the shaft, ensuring it sits flush.
- Tighten the screw firmly with the Allen key to secure the new turntable.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Detachable Basin
The detachable ABS basin is designed for easy cleaning:
- Turn off and unplug the machine.
- Carefully detach the two halves of the basin.
- Rinse the basin halves under running water to remove clay residue. You may use the provided sponge for thorough cleaning.
- Allow the basin to dry completely before reattaching or storing.

6.2 General Cleaning
- Wipe down the main unit with a damp cloth to remove any clay or dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure no water or clay enters the motor housing or electrical components.
- Store the machine in a dry, clean place when not in use.
