Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your rotary grater:

  1. Place the main body of the grater on a clean, smooth, and dry countertop.
  2. Press down firmly on the grater and turn the suction lock lever at the base clockwise to secure it to the countertop.
  3. Insert your desired drum blade into the transparent drum housing. Ensure it clicks into place.
  4. Attach the handle to the side of the drum housing, aligning it with the blade's axle and turning clockwise until secure.
  5. Place the food hopper on top of the drum housing.

Operating Instructions

Once assembled, your grater is ready for use. Always ensure the unit is stable before beginning.

  1. Prepare your ingredients by cutting them into pieces that fit comfortably into the food hopper.
  2. Place a bowl or container beneath the output chute to collect the processed food.
  3. Insert the ingredient into the food hopper.
  4. Use the food pusher to gently press the ingredient against the rotating blade.
  5. Turn the handle clockwise to rotate the blade and process the food. Apply steady, even pressure.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. To disassemble, turn the suction lock lever counter-clockwise to release the base.
  2. Unscrew the handle by turning it counter-clockwise.
  3. Remove the drum housing and carefully extract the drum blade.
  4. Hand wash all components with warm, soapy water. Use a brush to remove any food residue from the blades.
  5. Rinse thoroughly under running water.
  6. Dry all parts completely before reassembling or storing.
  7. Note: Hand wash is recommended below 140°F (60°C). This product is not dishwasher safe.

Troubleshooting

  • Suction Base Not Holding: Ensure the countertop surface is clean, smooth, and dry. A small amount of moisture can sometimes help create a stronger seal. Press down firmly while engaging the lock.
  • Food Clogging: If food clogs the drum, stop turning the handle, remove the food pusher, and carefully clear the obstruction. Ensure ingredients are cut to an appropriate size before feeding them into the hopper.
  • Difficulty Turning Handle: This may indicate an overly large or hard ingredient, or a clog. Reduce the size of the ingredient or clear any obstructions. Do not force the handle.
