Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, ensure the module is fully charged. Connect the module to a computer or a USB charger using the provided Type-C cable. The charging indicator light (red LED) will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes and provides about 120 minutes of playback time.
Connecting to a Computer
To transfer or delete audio files, connect the module to your computer using the Type-C USB cable. Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the module is in the "ON" position before connecting. The module will appear as a removable disk drive (e.g., USB flash disk) on your computer.

Transferring and Deleting Audio Files
- Turn on the module's switch.
- Connect the module to your computer using the USB-Type-C cable.
- Once recognized, open the module's drive on your computer. You will see a folder named REC_DIR (for recorded files) and a config.txt file.
- To delete built-in audio or recorded files, simply drag them to your computer's trash or delete them directly from the drive.
- To add new audio files, drag and drop MP3 files into the root directory of the module's drive. The audio file must be in MP3 format. File names are not strictly required.
- After transferring or deleting files, safely eject the module's drive from your computer before disconnecting the cable.

Configuring Playback Modes
The playback mode of the module can be customized by editing the config.txt file located in the root directory of the module's drive. This file contains parameters for playback behavior.
- The file typically contains two lines: IO=01 and PLAY=XX, where XX is a two-digit number representing the playback mode.
- Available Playback Modes (PLAY=XX):
- 01: Key press can interrupt current playback.
- 02: Key press cannot interrupt current playback.
- 03: Loop playback of the current audio file.
- 04: Loop playback of all audio files in order.
- 05: Play/Pause function.
- 06: Play/Stop function.
- To enable random play, set PLAY=02.

Maintenance
Battery Charging
The module is equipped with a 3.7V 230mAh rechargeable lithium battery. To charge, connect the module to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter) using the provided Type-C cable. The red LED indicates charging, and it will turn off when charging is complete. Avoid overcharging the battery.
Storage
Store the module in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery has a partial charge (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Module not recognized by computer. | ON/OFF switch is OFF; faulty USB cable; incompatible USB port (especially with newer computers). | Ensure switch is ON. Try a different, high-quality USB-C cable. If using a newer computer, try an older USB port or a different computer if available. |
| Cannot copy/delete files; cyclical redundancy errors. | File system error; unstable USB connection. | Try formatting the module's drive (this will erase all data). Ensure safe ejection after each operation. Try a different USB port or computer. |
| Recorded audio is unclear or distorted. | Microphone too far/close; background noise; volume too high during recording. | Ensure microphone is positioned correctly. Record in a quiet environment. Adjust recording volume if possible (not directly adjustable on this model, but ensure input source is not overdriven). |
| Playback audio is distorted. | Volume set too high; corrupted audio file; high bit rate MP3. | Lower the playback volume using the VOL button. Re-upload the audio file. Use MP3 files with a moderate bit rate (e.g., 128-192 kbps). |
| Module not charging. | Faulty USB cable; power source issue; module switch OFF. | Try a different Type-C USB cable and power source. Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. |
