4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Check for any damage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Wash the water tank, filter holder, filters, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
3. Positioning: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and heat.
4. Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank lid and fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level (1.4 Liters). Close the lid securely.
5. First Use / Priming: Before making coffee, perform a priming cycle. This machine features a self-priming system, but it's recommended to run a cycle without coffee to flush the system. Follow the operating instructions for making espresso, but without adding coffee grounds. Repeat this process 2-3 times.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Making Espresso

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Insert the desired filter (for 1 or 2 cups) into the professional filter holder.
3. Add ground coffee to the filter. For optimal results, use finely ground espresso coffee. Tamp the coffee evenly with the included swab. Alternatively, use E.S.E. (Easy Serving Espresso) doses.
4. Attach the filter holder to the brewing head by aligning it and turning it firmly to the right until it locks.
5. Place one or two cups on the two-level cup holder. The cup holder accommodates standard cups and tall glasses (up to 13 cm high).
6. Turn on the machine. The digital display will indicate when the machine is ready to brew (approximately 40 seconds).
7. Select your desired coffee length using the customizable coffee length function on the control panel.
8. Press the brew button to start extraction. The 15-bar pump will ensure optimal pressure for a rich espresso.
9. Once brewing is complete, remove the cups. Carefully remove the filter holder and discard the used coffee grounds.

5.2. Frothing Milk (Adjustable Cappuccino System)

1. Fill a pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy).
2. Ensure the machine is heated and ready for steam function (indicated on the digital display).
3. Position the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.
4. Activate the steam function. Slowly lower the pitcher as the milk froths, ensuring the wand remains submerged.
5. Once the desired foam consistency and temperature are reached, turn off the steam function.
6. Wipe the steam wand immediately with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
