Troubleshooting

If your Fenix HL32R-T headlamp is not functioning correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Headlamp does not turn on:
    • Check if the battery is correctly installed with the correct polarity.
    • Ensure the battery is charged.
    • Verify that the lockout function is not engaged. Unlock the headlamp if necessary.
    • If using AAA batteries, try replacing them with fresh ones.
  • Brightness is low or inconsistent:
    • The battery level may be low. Recharge the ARB-LP1900 battery or replace AAA batteries.
    • Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions.
    • The headlamp may be in a lower brightness mode. Cycle through modes to select a higher setting.
  • Headlamp gets hot during use:
    • High-output headlamps generate heat. This is normal, especially in High mode.
    • If the temperature becomes excessive, the headlamp may automatically reduce brightness to prevent overheating. This is a built-in safety feature.
  • Charging issues:
    • Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the headlamp and the power source.
    • Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
    • Check if the charging port is clean.
