Setup Guide

1. Insert SD Card: Locate the SD card slot on the dash cam and gently insert the provided 64GB Micro SD card until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.
2. Power Connection: Connect the Type-C USB power cable to the dash cam and the car charger. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
3. Initial Power On: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts.
4. Download LINGDU App: Search for "LINGDU" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download the official application. This app is essential for accessing live view, playback, settings, and downloading footage via 5G WiFi.
5. Connect via WiFi:
   • Turn on the dash cam.
   • On your smartphone, go to WiFi settings and connect to the dash cam's WiFi network (usually named "LINGDU_AM100_XXXX"). The default password can be found in the user manual or on the device itself.
   • Open the LINGDU App. The app will automatically connect to the dash cam, allowing you to view live footage and access settings.

Installation

Proper installation ensures optimal recording and safety. The LINGDU AM100 is designed for easy and discreet mounting.

1. Choose Mounting Location: Select a spot on your windshield, preferably behind the rearview mirror, that does not obstruct your view. Clean the area thoroughly.
2. Apply Electrostatic Film: Place one of the provided electrostatic films on the chosen area of the windshield. This helps in easy removal and prevents adhesive residue.
3. Attach Dash Cam: Peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive on the dash cam's mount. Firmly press the mount onto the electrostatic film for at least 30 seconds.
4. Adjust Angle: The dash cam features an adjustable bracket and lens. Adjust the camera angle to ensure the lens captures the road ahead clearly, covering the desired field of view (150° wide angle).
5. Route Power Cable: Use the provided pry tool to neatly tuck the power cable along the edge of your windshield and dashboard, leading it to the car charger. Use the cable clips to secure the cable in place.

Operating Instructions

Built-in 5G WiFi Connectivity

The AM100 features 5G WiFi for fast and stable connection to your smartphone via the LINGDU App. This allows for real-time viewing, video playback, downloading, and sharing.

G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)

24H Parking Mode

The AM100 offers two types of 24-hour parking modes to protect your vehicle when parked:

• Collision Detection Parking Mode: The dash cam detects abnormal external impacts and automatically records and locks emergency video files.
• Time-lapse Parking Mode: Records video continuously at a low frame rate (1fps) for 24 hours, compressing long periods into short, viewable clips. This requires a hardwire kit (sold separately) for continuous power.

Loop Recording

The dash cam supports continuous recording. When the memory card is full, the loop recording feature automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked video files to make space for new recordings, ensuring uninterrupted surveillance.
